This is the Lynch Mob at Mom's house in Colorado in May. Not often the four siblings are in one place and we had a great time together.
Brother Jim had hurt his knee on the last day of ski season and had to have surgery, so he was gimping around for a bit.The red rock coming back into Colorado was awfully pretty.
At the higher elevations, we encountered snow again. You can see the definite cloud line where it was snow above it and rain below it.
An old water wheel along the highway near Idaho Springs.
We detoured to Central City and Blackhawk to get a late lunch. Here, the snow was coming down and the moisture was rising right back up from the road to make it look like it was snowing upside down!
The old buildings in the mining town of Central City, once the richest square mile on earth.
An old ad painted on the side of a brick building has been maintained by the casino.
The Sasquatch Casino provides cheap lunches and free ice cream.
I believe.....
Sister Chris and her friend Beth in Mom's kitchen. Beth's hubby was having some serious surgery and she stayed at Mom's as it was close to the hospital.
Alice's tea party with the Mad Hatter was a sculpture set up at the Aurora Library. The next week it was gone. Guess they took the party elsewhere.
Dad always likes to go out for a big family dinner; this time it was awesome Italian fare at Maggiano's Little Italy. I liked the way this brick building looks.
Linda and Dad in the restaurant. Getting the right light and getting folks to stay still enough for a photo was tough.
Tom and Jason on Tom's deck. He just finished painting the pallet. Such an artistic streak is showing through these days.
And a couple of days later, we had snow again.
Jason's birthday at Mom's. Watch out, thar he blows!Abby and Scotty made Jason some cute pictures for his birthday presents.
